The Utah Association of Martial Arts was founded by Sensei Jordan Diaz and Master Ty Hatfield. Their mission is to network every martial art school in all of Utah and spread the knowledge and teachings of each style. Some of these styles include Shotokan Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kenpo, Hapkido, Judo, Kung Fu and so much more. UAMA recognizes the importance of diversity and the strength it has to offer.

UAMA asks of its members a modest annual membership fee to ensure that everyone may benefit on the journey to mastery. The funds go to planning future UAMA events, offerings and sponsoring children who wish to attend martial art events. All memberships expire at the end of the year and may be renewed the following year.
